At my core,

I'm a storyteller, a romantic,

and someone who believes that the people we love are life's greatest gift.

Photography has been my calling for as long as I can remember. Long before it became my career, it was simply who I was. I always had a camera in my hand growing up and couldn't wait to take my first photography class in high school. At 17, my first photo job was in a portrait studio, and I've been documenting people, families, and love stories ever since.

When I was 18, I spent time living in Europe, exploring, learning, and photographing everything I could. I came home with stacks of negatives, prints, and memories from that chapter of my life. Thank goodness my sister helped me organize them all into albums, or who knows where they would be.

My family albums and albums of my youth remain some of my most treasured possessions. They hold pieces of my life I could never recreate, adventures, friendships, and photographs of my son from the day he was born. Today he's 21, and there are moments when I turn those pages and feel my heart ache in the most beautiful way. The photographs bring me back to moments I never want to forget.

That's why I do what I do.

Because photographs are so much more than images, they become part of our family history. They remind us of the people who shaped us, the moments that changed us, and the love that carried us through.

Outside of photography, I'm a proud mom, a lover of family dinners, beach sunsets, travel, holidays spent together under one roof, and meaningful conversations with good friends.

Recently, I moved into a historic Victorian home in Sonoma County, and each morning I find myself feeling grateful as I water my little garden, sip my coffee, and watch the light pour through the windows. It's a peaceful reminder to slow down, appreciate the beauty around us, and find joy in life's simple moments.

Those quiet moments, the ones that often seem ordinary at the time, are the very things that become priceless memories. And perhaps that's one of the reasons I love photography so much.

Those who know me would say I wear my heart on my sleeve. I believe in kindness, authenticity, laughter, and finding beauty in both the extraordinary and the everyday. I believe in gathering people around a table, swimming in the ocean whenever possible, and creating a life rich with connection and purpose.

After more than twenty years behind the camera, I still feel incredibly honored every time someone trusts me with their story.

Because photographs remind us of who we loved, how we lived, and what mattered most.

And there is nothing more special than that.
